Description
One of the biggest drawbacks of a mild modified TJ is the lack of ground clearance under the Transmission. The factory transmission crossmember acts like an anchor. Doing some Modification here is mandatory and raises the Off Road ability massively. We choose Stainless steel for this plate because it is strong and it has a very hard surface, which lets the rig slide over obstacles way easier then Aluminum or even steel. We added a crossmember for max strength. The plate has a 50mm drop to avoid massive additional work on the drivetrain due to clearance. The bolt holes fit to any TJ’s transmission bracket with AX 5, AX15, 3 speed Auto.
We added 4 bolt holes up front to give you an easier entrance in building protection plates for Transmission and Engine Oil pan. Drilling holes in Stainless steel is no fun.
All parts come unpainted with mounting hardware! If you prefer having your parts powder coated in the color of your choice, we can offer this for reasonable prices.
